I made a post earlier about the biological benefits of breastfeeding. Jeanp posted up there that there were no facts or studies done about how breast milk can reduce future health problems. This abstract from a scientific article has a brief explanation of the biological benefits.

Breastfeeding your baby is very important not only to establish attachment and bonding, but biologically important as well.
